The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) honor our Revolutionary War patriot ancestors by promoting patriotism, serving our communities, and educating and inspiring future generations about the founding principles of our Country.

SAR Pledge

We decendants of the heroes of the American Revolution who, by their sacrifices, established the United States of America, reaffirm our faith in the principles of liberty, and our Constitutional Republic, and solemnly pledge ourselves fo defend them against every foe.

Objectives

The Constitution of the National Sons of the American Revolution declares the Objectives of the Society to be patriotic, historical, and educational to include :

• Perpetuate the memory of those patriots achieved the independence of the American people;
• Unite and promote fellowship among their descendents;
• Inspire them and the community-at-large with a more profound reverence for the principles of the government founded by our forefathers; 
• Encourage historical research in relation to the American Revolution;
• Acquire and preserve the records of the individual services of the patriots of the war;
• Mark the scenes of the Revolution by appropriate memorials;
• Celebrate the anniversaries of the prominent events of the war and of the Revolutionary period;
• Foster true patriotism; and,
• Maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom
